With dimensions that are 85 percent of the size of the Ultratech®, the UTX-85® measures 7.65" in total length, features a 3.10" blade and weighs 3.1 oz. Constructed with high-quality materials such as 6061-T6 aluminum, proprietary screws and equipped with a glass breaker and Böhler M390MK® steel, the UTX-85® maintains the same standards of excellence as the original Ultratech®.

I bought the UTX-85 to replace my 06 Auto that I have carried for almost 15 years. It has taken a little adaptation to get used to the smaller overall knife and different in deployment method, but I have been impressed with the durability and reliability this knife has provided. At a glance, one might feel this knife is delicate and flimsy, but it has stood up to to same (albeit not horribly brutal) challenges I have put any other edc knife through and come out without so much as a scratch. I have even purchased a second for my wife to carry on her person. Definitely consider it worth the price!
