I own quite a few Microtech OTFs. I mainly carry the combat Troodon, Hera 2 and this beast, the scarab 2. I’m 6’3” so I have fairly large hands and feel more comfortable with the full size handles these knives have. While the Combat Troodon and Hera 2 have thinner bodies and carry more comfortably in my back pocket, NO pocket knife I’ve ever held by any manufacturer comes close to the way the scarab 2 feels in my hand. The textured handle, super wide button and slick pocket clip marry my hand when operating the blade and cutting. I trust my life with this knife and carry it more than any I own. If you have large hands, wear gloves or just want to own/carry the best OTF EDC IMHO, pull the trigger and get one, you won’t regret it!
