ULTRATECH GEN III ZBP T/E STONEWASH STANDARD LEO (1123-10LEO)

Haven’t had the knife very long and all I have done is carried it in my pocket and the finish on the handle is worn off and scratched.

I went a little nuts this month. I bought two Signature Series ZBP Shadow Ultratechs one S/E DLC Standard and one T/E DLC Partial Serrated. I also bought this model. Misplacing an Ultratech I purchased in 2016 spurred on these purchases.

I received great customer service from Seth S. on the two Signature Series purchases and bought this model directly from the website with GovID for the veteran discount.

All three knives function perfectly with amazing fit & finish. The Signature Series knives were inspected by “VC” and this model was inspected by “VS” unless “VC” had a sloppy pen day. They have created a YouTube video on how to care for and service your knife. The proprietary screw have been replaced with torx bits. The Zero Blade play is the real deal. The button is stiff I believe acting as a safety and overcoming the dual spring system both ways. The blade deploys rapidly and positively and also returns home in the same manner. These knives lock up tighter than most folders.

If you have any issues reach out to customer service. Explain the issue, if right out of the box provide the inspectors initials, so they can speak to the inspector, possibly update their training or improve their processes. If the issue happens further down the road they can help you. They know what is expected at this price point, and they will make it right.

Quality of this knife is amazing. Fit and finish are perfection. Blade fires smoothing and with force.

I love it, it's strong, well made and the blade has zeroplay. I was never interested in a tanto blade however, after playing around with it I'm actually enjoying it

Love the new generation. Firing mechanism is much easier compared to the new generation. ZBT is a game changer.

The clip is also an upgrade from the previous generation, the lack of the triangular tab means less hangup when reaching into the pocket for things.
