The MSI is my favorite EDC right now. It has great edge retention so other than running it on a leather strop, I haven’t found the need to use a sharpener yet. This knife doesn’t disappoint…
The only knife you’ll ever need. This is by far the best I have
WOW! The hype is real. After finally getting this Microtech in hand, I’m blown away by the ergonomics and the razor-sharp factory edge. The blade geometry is stunning, and the deployment is flawless every single time. It’s clear why they’re a leader in the industry. Looking forward to adding another to the collection soon!
The number one thing is the blade material M390MK.
Polymer scales are very lightweight. When you open and close the blade, it has a much different tone to it., a bit flatter in sound. It feels to me like the best and least expensive way to get yourself into a microtech.
It’s also the perfect toast for custom scales. There’s a little bar stick on the Ram-Lok but three days of snapping and opening clothes in the evenings, took care of that. I decided to order some custom titanium scales from an aftermarket vendor. But truthfully, the more I use the knife the more I find I like the polymer scales due to the feel and weight. It’s just a really nice Knife. The blade on the standard MSI is a little long so I decided to go with a half serrated. I still have about three weeks to go till the titanium scales come in. But I may end up not using them. I’m thinking backup skills in case something should happen to the polymer originals.
Knife was not delivered on time iven though I paid extra
