L.U.D.T.® T/E Gen III Apocalyptic® Standard (1136-10AP)

I really like the design and action of the Microtech LUDT Gen 3. The knife feels great in hand, fires hard, and the overall build quality is what you’d expect from Microtech. The ergonomics and blade shape make it an awesome everyday carry.

That said, I was pretty disappointed to find rust on the blade immediately after opening the package. For a knife at this price point, I expected better quality control and protection during shipping/storage. It definitely took away from the excitement of getting a new knife.

Overall, I still like the knife itself, but the rust issue keeps this from being a perfect experience. Hoping Microtech improves their inspection process because the product has a lot of potential otherwise.

This has exceeded my preconceived opinion. while it’s only a couple weeks, it has been a great knife

If you're on the fence, I highly recommend the LUDT. Fit and finish was perfect and the blade was razor sharp. This is my new EDC.

This is a great knife! I cannot say enough about the knife but, let me say that I was worried it would be too thick from the photos. I am so glad that I bought it because it is a solid knife, not too thick, and carries very comfortably in the pocket. It is made of quality materials and the tolerances from Microtech are incredible at this price! Came very sharp with a precise edge. Typical Microtech craftsmanship. Give it a try if you're thinking about it and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Been looking for this style and blade shape for the LUDT for awhile and this will be my go to for years. Great solid blade, action, feel, it’s everything I need for an EDC.
