Hawk® Auto Stonewash Standard (166-10)

Large and in charge OTS auto not to be messed with. This hawkbill auto is stylish and powerful yet amazingly ergonomic rendering a perfect grip. Creating massive tact, the 3M grip tape really lets you take hold. As usual with all autos from Microtech the action is fast and powerful. Main purpose for this unit would be self defense yet draw and pull cuts are a breeze with the large blade of m390mk proprietary steel. Large deploy button is accesible by either hand easily and should rarely if ever deploy in pocket due to the design of the button and shouldering built up material around it. Simply put, not much to dislike about the Hawk except for it’s price. Nice to get it for less but for longlasting quality such as this, the price shouldnt come cheap. Great to see the Hawk offered again by Microtech as this legend shouldnt go away just yet….

The blade is just nasty. The handle design is similar to the Socom Elite auto with the same grip tape and push button. Which is one of my all-time favorites. It's not a chopper or stabber but pull cuts and slicing are a dream.

I'm glad to see these come back. Been wanting one since the last time they were released. Finally managed to get one.

It’s an automatic Hawk. What’s not to like? For my money there’s nothing not to like. I’ve been carrying it since I got it and it is a lot more useful than I was anticipating. I bought it because it looked cool but I see it settling into my carry rotation. It came sharp as a laser (which made me happy because I’ve had one or two lately that weren’t) and it’s comfortable in the pocket. If you’re on the fence because you don’t think you’ll use it as much take a shot. You’ll be surprised

Another amazing knife from microtech. So glad they decided to put it on the shelf once more. Will be ordering another soon. Would like to see this in a frag Ti version giving the handle a little more weight to it.
