The Dirac is our first dual action knife with a cover firing slider. We designed an updated ergonomic chassis with curved lines similar to the HALO for a slightly different feel compared to other handles. We researched this particular OTF design and applied our signature ultra-high tolerance Microtech features such as proprietary hardware, innovative internal mechanism, and glass breaker. With an overall length of 7.25 inches, the Dirac is just right for an everyday knife.

  • Overall Length: 7.25”
  • Blade Length: 2.875”
  • Weight: 2.30oz
  • Knife Type: Double-Action OTF
  • Country of Origin: USA

Great everyday carry knife

The knife was smaller than I was expecting, but after carrying it for a few weeks now, I realize how perfect the size is. It fits well in my pocket, without taking up too much space. The open and closing mechanism works crisply and is isn't too hard to operate, yet it is stiff enough that there is virtually no way to accidentally extend the blade.

The blade itself is extremely sharp and seems quite strong. I have not had an opportunity to sharpen it yet, as I've only had it for a few weeks, so I can't comment on that aspect.

Overall, a very well-built and well-designed knife that is easy - and safe - to carry. Highly recommend.
