The Microtech Cypher II features a Bohler M390MK wharncliffe blade with an apocalyptic finish and a black anodized aluminum handle.
The X-button thumb slide opens the blade and closes it with the double-spring dual fuel drivetrain which delivers amazingly smooth action. Extra milling in the thumb slide cut-out creates a spot for lint and other debris to break apart which delivers reliable action. This Crud Kutter makes your knife more reliable and smoother regardless of the environment.
The handle has hidden fasteners leaving only the pocket clip/lanyard hole visible. The knife also has a glass breaker and a reversible titanium pocket clip with a silica carbide ball

I'd lost my original Troodon and bought this as the closest replacement in the present lineup. The technology has noticeably improved. Being more tactically oriented the Cypher II is a bit longer and heavier than what I'd prefer to carry for dressy or non-casual locations. On the other hand, to be fair, the Troodon was a little light for serious situations. Fortunately, some honest soul found the Troodon and took it to our community center lost and found. I now have two great knives.
Now if they'd just update the Troodon or let me send it back for updating in the custom shop I'd be in heaven.
