The MicroTech Combat Troodon is the Gold Standard of OTF knifes. As a retired mechanical design engineer I have a deep appreciation for the effort that went into the design of this knife. In .addition, the workmanship is flawless.
My only criticism, and this does not reflect on the Troodon but on all OTF knifes, they are loud. One of the attributes of knifes is that they can be stealthy. The “kachunk” this knife makes when it opens is only slightly less ominous than the sound of jacking one into the chamber of a 12ga pump.
