Akris Stonewash Standard G-10 Black with Dark Chocolate Leather Sheath (95-10BK-1)

For starters, I love the knife!
The blade is great and easy to use, the G10 handle feels good in the hand and provides a great purchase on the knife while using.
I myself am not a hunter, so I can’t speak on the skinning portion of the knife, but I can say it make for a great bushcraft blade… other than.. and here’s the downside of my review..

The sheath.. though it is absolutely stunning and the craftsmanship is great.. I’ve had a hell of a time trying to get it to work with my set up.
I’ve taken to wearing it “upside down” to be able to comfortably grab the blade when need to use, which has lead to it falling out... which I am a skinny individual and have a harder time getting things to contour and conceal things on my body.

I’ve started reaching out to a few people for a custom Kydex sheath, because I truly love the blade and would even use it as a daily carry if it I were able to carry it more reliably.

But overall an AMAZING knife and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to add a fixed blade to their collection!

Absolutely amazing knife, Microtech perfectly achieved what they were going for with this one. Great size, feels good in hand and you can tell from the second you pick it up that it is going to excel at skinning, hunting and outdoors tasks. The sheath is very high quality as well and you can feel that it is durable, high quality and really made to last a lifetime!
