The new Microtech LUDT evokes the classic UDT style with revolutionary updates to the form and function of its predecessor. The new LUDT looks and feels familiar while incorporating quite a few innovative changes. This iteration of our powerful automatic folder sees the return of inlays, providing optimal grip. The new LUDT rides on 24 silica carbide bearings, providing the smoothest action yet. Common Torx screws allow for ease of maintenance and the tip-up carry clip gives users security and quick access to this sturdy, water-resistant folder.

I’m Big on anesthetics and was a little bit worried that the tan handle might come out like some washed out watercolor… But instead it is a vibrant bronze/copper look …very very happy. I know the knife will be sharp and function perfect for a lifetime that’s a given with microtech, but I’m writing this review just to tell you that the color is really really nice and that aspect of the end productis very important to me. Thanks microtech
