In the past, we have donated time and resources to many great organizations, and looking forward we continue to stand by our charge to support causes that empower individuals in Military/ Government, LEO, junior, and local causes. Microtech® Knives is proud to support like-minded organizations through thoughtful sponsorships and contributions. We are honored to back numerous organizations that bolster causes we take pride in.
One such organization, Memorial 3-Gun Foundation, accomplishes just that. Founded as a way to blend competitive shooting with honoring military members, Memorial 3-Gun aims to “remember, honor, and memorialize fallen heroes in the spirit of competitive shooting.” Each 3-Gun competition honors the memory of eight fallen soldiers, allowing attendees to connect to their stories and walk away with understanding and appreciation. Their second annual event will be hosted in Maxton, North Carolina September 13-15. All proceeds from the event go directly to the families of the fallen soldiers being honored at the event. Honoring our troops and those that dedicated their lives for our country is a top priority for us, and we will always strive to show appreciation to these fine men and women in everything we do. Another worthy cause that we are sponsoring this year is the Greenville W.A.R. Fund. Founded eight years ago in response to several local injuries in the Line of Duty, the W.A.R. Fund is a foundation dedicated to financially helping those wounded in the police force. The W.A.R. fund holds 3 annual events every year. Originally hosted as a one-time fundraiser, the Pistol Shooting Competition of the W.A.R. fund (short for Wounded and Recovering) gained traction and became an annual event that has grown exponentially year by year. This year, the Pistol Shooting Competition will be held on October 26th. As a 501(c)(3) company, 100% of proceeds go directly to honorable police officers. Generation III Gun is yet another 501(c)(3) organization we work with that strives to educate juniors on safe gun handling while promoting the fun and exciting community of competitive shooting. Through this 3 gun championship held at Lake of the Ozarks, junior shooters have an opportunity to experience a challenging course, and through sponsorships like ours, can be sure they have the resources they need to succeed.
Our sponsorships help us give back and show the world what we value most. Through them, we can aid military and law enforcement, local causes, and organizations that educate on safe gun handling. Without support from our Microtech® family we would not be able to support others, and for that we are grateful.
