Shift: Day Schedule: 8:00 – 5:00

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of various parts and components in a safe manner.

This area serves as a throughway for such work where specific processes are performed to prepare items for specific

purpose (i.e. final assembly, painting, heat treatment, etc.). This position may require both scheduled and unscheduled

overtime throughout the year based on show schedules and tight production deadlines***

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

· Tumbling (Ceramic and Triziac media of various sizes)

· Media Blasting (Aluminum Oxide & Glass Bead)

· Surface Grinding Operations & Support

· Blade Prep (spinning, serrating, chamfering, buffing)

· Cleaning & scrubbing

· Packaging and Shipping Prep

· Buffing, Polishing, Deburring

· Heat Treatment techniques on various materials (PM blade steels)

· Anodization of Aluminum and Titanium parts

· Time Management & Organization of Parts Flow Through Work Cell

Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, or Education Required:

· Knowledge and ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and mechanical drawings issued by managers and team leaders

· Ability to use basic processing equipment and machines as well as simple hand tools

· Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and tools to figure out an efficient repair solution

· Ability to perform all required tasks with a high level of attentiveness and discerning attention to detail given the level of quality we deliver to our customers

· Solid problem-solving skills

· Ability to work and function efficiently in a team environment and report to several levels of management

· High School Diploma

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and organized design engineer to join our growing team. In this position, you will research and develop new ideas and prototypes to build for our company. You will create plans and blueprints and oversee the manufacturing of prototypes and final building. You will also be responsible for improving the performance and efficiency of existing systems and products.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Draw and create blueprints and other schematics needed

· Create test prototypes

· Make recommendations to improve production efficiency

· Develop and implement design strategies

· Collaborate with other engineers, managers, and creative team

· Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for design

· Research and track prototype performance and reactions

· Prepare documentation, such as testing protocols and manuals

· Organize plans and create schedules

· Review and oversee the manufacturing of designs

· Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards

Requirements and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in design engineering, engineering, product design, industrial design, or related field

· 3-5 years’ previous experience in a similar role preferred

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

· Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks

· Strong aptitude for creating detailed blueprints and instructions

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Job Requirements:

  • Able to receive and retain advanced CNC operation, setup and program adjustments training to assist the mills and lathe team in producing consistent parts to spec and on schedule.
  • Create tooling offsets and adjustments to manufacturer to consistently close tolerances
  • Set tools, calibrate and operate CNC machines and lathes for various operations including turning, drilling, boring, threading, tapping and milling
  • Interpret blueprints/engineering drawings
  • Ability to recognize and correct malfunctions
  • Work in a team atmosphere to assist/instruct coworkers with machining techniques
  • Maintain and uphold confidentiality agreement

The ideal candidate should have the following skill set:

  • 5+ years experience preferred
  • Setup and operating mills and lathes in a production environment

  • Operate Citizen SWISS lathe machines in a production environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ability to setup, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines.

· Work from prints and solid models to develop an efficient process.

· Review Gd&T, tolerances, and critical features.

· Program new parts, using best practices.

· Select machine tools.

· Calculate cycle time.

· Develop tooling and tool holding package.

· Develop or design work holding and fixturing concepts.

· Develop the process documenting set up and work instruction.

· Generate CNC code using CAM software.

· Interact with tooling and work holding vendors.

· Set up and prove new processes.

· Debug and troubleshoot CNC programs, machine tool issues, set ups, tooling and work holding.

· Train skilled machinists, CNC programmers, and support team members on new equipment and process.

· Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions. Adhere to the highest quality standards possible.

· Perform miscellaneous job duties, department or facility tasks as needed.

Requirements:

· CNC machining and programming using Mastercam software.

· Experience with HAAS, Mori and OKK.

· Flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision.

· Act as team member to provide solutions. Work well with others.

· Strong shop math skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.

· Knowledge of feeds, speeds and tool geometry.

· Ability to develop tooling and fixturing concepts.

· 5 axis CNC process development experience.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of machining a variety of metals.

Position Summary:

 

The Finished Goods Tech is a hands-on role that includes testing products, cleaning and packaging finished goods, receiving orders and shipments, shipping orders as needed.
