Microtech Knives at Blade Show Atlanta 2025

Blade Show Atlanta 2025, held June 6–8 at the Cobb Galleria Centre, once again proved why it’s considered the world’s premier knife event, drawing thousands of enthusiasts, collectors, and industry professionals from around the globe.

A Weekend of Knife Culture and Community

From the moment the doors opened, the energy was palpable. Blade Show Atlanta’s scale of over 1,000 exhibitors and nearly 300,000 square feet of displays—creates an environment where every conversation is an opportunity to connect with fellow knife lovers and share in the excitement of new releases and classic designs. For Microtech Knives, the show is more than just a venue; it’s a chance to engage with our loyal customers, meet new fans, and contribute to the vibrant knife community.

Spotlights: The Ultratech, UTX-85, and Luminary

This year, we were proud to unveil three Blade Show exclusives that exemplify Microtech’s commitment to precision and performance:

• Ultratech Blade Show Special: Our flagship OTF (out-the-front) model received a limited-edition treatment for Blade Show 2025. Featuring a natural hard coat finish and the coveted Blade Show marking, this Ultratech® is not only a collector’s dream but also a testament to Microtech’s relentless pursuit of quality. In a twist that had the show floor buzzing, 10 Signature Series Vegas Forge Damascus versions were randomly hidden among the batch—offering lucky buyers a chance to walk away with a knife valued at $1,400 for the standard show price. With a limit of two per customer and a first-come, first-served policy, these knives disappeared fast.
• UTX-85 Gen III: The beloved compact UTX-85® enters its third generation with Microtech’s advanced Dual-Fuel Drive Train™—featuring two parallel main springs for smoother, more reliable deployment and easier operation, even for smaller or sensitive hands. Gen III upgrades include the Crud Kutter™  [HB1] to keep debris out, stainless steel Torx hardware for enhanced durability, a milled titanium pocket clip with a ceramic ball for secure, snag-free carry, and a refined, low-profile glass breaker for effective emergency use.
• The Luminary: Another showstopper at our booth was the Luminary™. Originally introduced as part of the SureFire[HB2]  kit, the Luminary™ quickly gained a following for its blend of performance and design. Responding to overwhelming demand, we’re excited to announce that the Luminary™ is now available for the first time as a standalone model at Blade Show 2025. This move allows more enthusiasts to experience its ergonomic form, premium materials, and Microtech’s signature attention to detail.
  
  

A New Chapter: Microtech's Cutlery Line

Blade Show 2025 also marked a pivotal moment for Microtech as we officially unveiled our new cutlery line. This expansion represents a natural progression for our brand, leveraging our expertise in precision manufacturing and high-performance materials to create exceptional culinary tools. The initial offerings include chef, santokus, paring, utility, boning and steak knives each meticulously crafted with the same attention to detail and quality that defines our knive
